Play Blaze and the Monster Machines Mud Mountain Rescue online for free. Mud Mountain Rescue is a collection of 4 driving games based on the Nickelodeon Jr. series. Help Blaze and AJ collect enough knots to save their rival Crusher. These minigames are geared for preschoolers and serve as an introduction to several types of games, including driving and racing games. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Select the play button on the lower right corner of the welcome screen to begin.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use left click, the space bar, and the arrow keys as instructed on the screen.
    - On the first of 3 minigames you jump over crab trucks & can use the mouse left click button or the spacebar to jump.
    - On the second minigame you operate a wood chipping truck and can use the up arrow or down arrow keys to change which lane you are driving on.
    - On the third minigame you drive in a first person perspective as Blaze and can use the left and right arrows to move horizontally.
    - On the fourth minigame tap the spacebar to throw your knots across to be assembled into a rope. Press the spacebar again to wrangle Crusher. After Crusher has been wrangled repeatedly tap the left arrow key to slow down.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - While this game might load on some mobile devices, it was optimized for desktops with a keyboard and mouse.
      - Game Play
        Plot and basic controls
        Crusher’s skis have gone out of control. To save him, Blaze and AJ must collect enough knots to create a rope while getting to him in time.
        The game is based on the episode “Rocket Ski Rescue.”
        The minigames mirror the predicaments encountered by Blaze and AJ in that episode.
        Collect as many knots as you can while driving down the road.
        The game is continuous and can be played in a single go.
        The obstacles won’t actually stop you, but they will slow you down.
        Each minigame segues into another. To play them all, you must finish them in order.
        Crab minigame
        The first minigame involves Blaze jumping through lanes of crab trucks.
        Swing across the rope to avoid the crab trucks.
        Click and tap or press the space bar and any of the arrow keys to jump from
        Time your jumps at the right time to grab the ropes.
        At the right time, jump off of them to land on another platform or grab another rope.
        Keep swinging and jumping until you reach the end of the level.
        Miss the rope and Blaze will fall into the pit of crabs.
        He be brought back to where he started. This usually means a platform, but sometimes he’d just jump back on the last rope he jumped on.
        Wood chipper minigame
        In the second minigame, Blaze is equipped with a wood chipper and claw attachment.
        Drive across the dirt road and collect knots along the way.
        Dodge any obstacles that stand in the way.
        A few obstacles like mud pits and rocks will slow Blaze down. There’s nothing you can do but try to drive around them.
        If Blaze passes by rolling logs and fallen trees, he grabs them and sends them to the wood chipper.
        Gain an extra boost in speed by passing by the green speed tracks.
        Crusher will come into view, but you won’t be able to catch him just yet.
        First person driving minigame
        As AJ, drive Blaze around obstacles while collecting knots.
        Avoid colored mud pits, trees, and rocks. Hitting them will slow you down.
        Stay away from the drones; they will fire colored mud on Blaze’s windshield.
        This will not only slow you down but temporarily interfere with your field of vision.
        This serves as a low-stakes, easy to learn introduction to driving games for preschoolers.
        As with the previous minigame, you won’t be able to catch Crusher even if you see him.
        Lasso minigame
        Much of this minigame plays like a cutscene. This is where Blaze, AJ, and Grammy actually catch up to Crusher.
        Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the game.
        Use the space bar to hand the knots to Grammy. Do this as many times as you can, depending on the knots you collected.
        Press the space bar again, when instructed, to grant you a speed boost.
        Once you’ve caught up to Crusher, press the right arrow key to throw the lasso on him.
        Pull him back using the left arrow key.
        Crusher will stop squarely before a large rock outcropping. After that, you’ve won.
        Play the entire game from the beginning by selecting the play again button on the lower right corner of the victory screen.
        Target Audience
        This game is suitable for preschoolers and fans of the Nick Jr. series.
        Older children and adults are likely to find this game boring due to how easy it is.
        The game has no adult content.
